As an Associate Attorney, Megha Patel, JD, supports the firm’s founder Diane Weinberg in the creation of legal documents designed to protect Georgia’s vulnerable seniors and their families from exploitation.

A resident of Marietta, Ms. Patel is a member of the Georgia Bar and a graduate of Belmont University College of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctor degree. She also holds a BA in Economics and Criminal Justice, and a Certificate in Legal Studies from the University of Georgia. Previously, she completed legal internships with the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission and the Athens-Clark County District Attorney’s Office, as well as two non-profit organizations, The Civil Rights Education and Enforcement Center and Volunteer Lawyers & Professionals for the Arts.

When she is not protecting Georgia seniors, Megha loves to read and watch classic titles from Marvel Cinematic Universe and The Walt Disney Studios. A self-avowed foodie, she can be found in her kitchen making standard fare and exotic dishes. Megha also pushes the boundaries of her impressive culinary skills by concocting new dishes. .
